From my understanding...but I can't find anything concrete....If Weeks plays the minimum number of games to qualify at a position this year, then Yahoo will keep his name active next year....If he does not play the games then he will have to be on the opening day roster, or be called up for them to have his name active...

Just my understanding of how it works...I am still trying to find something more definate... :-)

I think Corriea has huge upside. He was a 2002 draft pick. He flew through the Giant's farm system. With Foppert out until 2005 Correia will get a shot next season.

I agree .... but my thinking was that Vogelsong had a better shot at the rotation and a number 2 or 3 spot for next season.
Corriea would be a number 5 pitcher. a number 4 at best next season.
