This is definitely a route that I will consider. I guess I'll just leave it up to the league vote to decide what the penalty is.

You're right on with my thinking here too. I would never consider making the rule effective this year unless it was my team that was involved. Anyone else and I'd be talking about grandfathering this year's teams in and making the rule effective going forward.
