I agree with most, if not all of them (haven't really investiaged the Gold Gloves, but the rest I'm on board with, barring maybe 1):

That's pretty much in line with what I would go with as well. Leyland over Gardenhire. And had the White Sox made the playoffs, Dye would be my MVP, but I can't argue with Jeter now. My favorite, however:

Leyland should definitely be AL Manager of the Year. Hardly anybody had the Tigers being one of the best teams in the league this year.

I think Passan puts too much emphasis on team performance when evaluating individual accomplishments, but that's just me.
