Where can I find prOPS?

Postby Music2004Man » Fri Sep 29, 2006 6:40 am

I'm looking for predicted OPS. Where can I find that?

Thanks

It uses data on a player's batted ball percentage (line drvie percentage, fly ball percentage, ground ball percentage, etc.) to project his OPS. Looks to be pretty accurate in identifying guys who are getting the benefit of a few fluky hits (they will have a prOPS that's less than their actual OPS) and guys who are hitting the ball hard, but just hitting it righ at someone (they'll have a prOPS that's above their actual)

Hey, Yanks, is it true that in your day you had to walk both ways to school uphill in two feet of snow?

Is it true you were the inspiration for Dana Carvey's "Grumpy Old Man" character?

"Back in my day, we didn't have any of these new-fangled statistics. We had to make do with runs and RBIs. And we liked it!"
