Is Delgado a keeper

Postby soxfan364 » Thu Sep 28, 2006 12:15 pm

He's on the bubble, I have Ortiz, J Reyes, Manny Ramirez, Jered Weaver, Huston Street, John Smoltz. I'm really looking foward to what Weaver can do over a full season.

Delgado's .263 avg. was a killer this year.

How many keepers do you get to keep?

I would go with

Ortiz
J Reyes
J Weaver
M Ramirez
H Street

I feel like you can still get Delgado and Smoltz later in the draft.

Ortiz, J Reyes, and Manny are no-brainers.
I don't like the idea of keeping a closer so I would try to pull some 2 for one deals with Street, Weaver, Delgado and Smoltz. If nothing comes of it I'd go with Weaver and Street.
