Do playoff teams play their stars the last game?

It's going down to the wire for me in my overall points league, and I need to know how this works for playoff teams. Do they rest their guys for the playoffs, or play them to keep them in a groove?
The reason I'm asking is that I'm trying to get as many pitchers as I can that are starting on Sunday, and there a couple who I would not normally pick up based on the matchup. But if the team is resting their players, then I might consider grabbing the opposing team's pitcher.

Depends on who and which team. If the game has meaning you can count on the A-team being on the field.

If not, you can count on a lot of guys being rested the last day. Rarely does everyone sit though. Rarely will a regular play the whole game even if he starts though.

Even though they've clinched the division, there's always a battle for overall record and home-field advantage. Keep an eye on this to determine whether you'll see all your starters.

They had NL overall record clinched about 2 weeks ago. The Mets have ZERO to play for until the playoffs. Outside of Beltran maybe playing to get some ABs in after his injury, I would not count on any regular being in the lineup on any given day for the rest of this week. Tha t is not to say they all wil lnot play some, but I would think a lot of them wil lbe getting some time off.
