anybody else think this is a little bit early to conduct a mock draft for next season, seeing as this season isn't even over with yet?

I totally agree that this mock is too early and by the time of 07 draft, a lot of things would change.

And I also got a chuckle when they listed Soriano as 2B and Cabrera as an OF

Too many mistakes in the draft already, I dont consider 50% of the moves as the right picks for that round.

Use this to make keeper decisions or weigh trades this winter, when transactions and news are sure to change things.

Is anybody else confused by this statement? If things are sure to change...won't this change too.

I really don't follow the logic on this mock, but if someone will trade me Hafner for Morneau based on their draft position, I'm all ears.

One thing I am realizing: Utley will be a first-rounder in more drafts than not. He has put up solid first outfielder numbers, and 2B is going to be a barren wasteland next year with Soriano gone. Big dropoff after Chase.

I do think next year will be a crazy draft year, though. That whole first round will probably be different in nearly every league. It isn't as clear-cut as this year was with everyone's first four picks or so set in stone.
