A lot of Giants fan think Jonathan Sanchez will be 1 of the 3 front line power starter that the Giants will throw out there in a couple(as soon as next year) years along with Matt Cain and Tim Lincecum(T-Cum :-D ). Now there's risk with any pitching prospect but I really like him a lot. Dustin McGowan looks like a lost cause and could probably be dropped for Sanchez.

As to Carmona, I don't trust him too much. You should probably wait for one of his advocate to come here and argue for his case. As to who the 2nd drop would be. The Royals fan in me says that Mike MacDougal will eventually blow up Jeremy Affeldt style soon. But now that he's with another team, this might not happen and he's been effective.

PWF is right, dropping McGowan is the right choice, but I'm not really a huge fan of Sanchez or Carmona. Carmona was lights-out in setup this year, but has completely sucked at everything else. Sanchez too did well in relief, but has struggled lately as a starter

No, I'd drop Leauge seeing how his value is quite low, obviously the lowest of the guys u have on your team. Also, SP is always more important than RP since as you've seen this year there have been a number of closers lost their jobs due to performance or injury. You could pick up Sanchez, whom I like, and then if that doesn't work out I see Leauge most likely still on the FA market for a while unless he really shows something, is traded, or Ryan gets hurt. Also, monitor Braun in KC because I think he may be closing next year for the Royals. I think right now he has more value than League currently has since he's KC's best option. But that may be a pickup for next year. But I for sure think League has the least value of anybody on your team currently.

Yeah, they've wanted him to close for awhile but he couldn't stay healthy. He's 26 and finally healthy. Braun is a better option than Burgos and journeyman Nelson.
