Wow. What a shot to the spirit.

But mark my words, this is a blessing. Had he played, he'd have been nothing more than a hinderance, and would have cost us games. If we don't win it all, we don't win it all. But we have a better chance with him out, if he is going to pitch this way then if we just blindly handed him the ball because he's Pedro.

A tough day. Stupid Mets shouldn't have even activated him in September.

I knew it was too early...

Maybe its better that we didnt wait to the playoffs though. Having him come back and throw a game like last night would be rough. I guess we werent winning this.
