You've seen crazier things in baseball than a team coming from 8.5 games behind to win a division with only a week and a half left?
If this actually happens, it has to go down as one of the biggest collapses in major league history.
I didn't recognize it was 8.5 in that short time span -- Off the top of my head, I remembered it being at about 5.5.
It would definitely be crazy, considering they aren't playing the Cards head-to-head every game and need to help themselves while getting help from other teams.
