1)What do you think of this team for next year? I'm obviously not picking up Edmonds' team option(TO) for next year. But I'll probably pick up Mussina's. Then I'll have around 15 millions max to do some damage in FA. And 15 millions isn't much in our league.
2)Would I be contending next year that I should bring in more proven veteran talent or am I still a couple years away that I should try to rebuild my farm a little bit(I am the A's, and though I think my team's current top 10 is as good as the real A's right now, I don't think my system is as deep)
3)At the beginning of the year I did the trade below.
Marlins Get
Miguel Tejada 10,781,000 (2009)
A's Get
Edgar Renteria 8,000,000 (2008) (Team option for 09)
Milton Bradley 2,500,000 (2007)
Guillermo Mota 2,600,000 (2006)(later waived, his contract is no longer my problem)
Josh Johnson NA(Later traded straight up for Matt Cain)
Eric Reed NA
Neither of us think it's a good trade for us. What do you guys think?
4)What position should I be buying? What position should I be selling? Any players I should be selling high?

I did a quick scan but havent been in a league of this sort. It seems you have the potential to be a competitive team. It really depends who will be signable (free agents) in the offseason. If there are some quality players, I wouldnt pick up Mussina's crazy contract.

chances are if I let Mussina go, that he'll get a crazy multi year contract with another team. The FA market is not really an option and I'm looking to sign those cheap players like DeRosa last year.

I don't know about the rest of it, but I think the only person I would sell High on is Ian Stewart. He has been touted as a great prospect for a long time, but his numbers haven't been tremendous, and that's playing in Colorado's hitter friendly system. Someone will still think of him as being worth a bounty, and you can play off your desire to trade him by saying that you are set at 3B with Chavez and Encarnacion (which is true).

Is Tulsa as hitter friendly as Colorado Spring and Coors field? I for some reason always thought that the AAA team's park is a lot more hitter friendly than Tulsa. I could be wrong.

I'm not as sure about Tulsa...but his number still aren't pretty:
.268/.351/.452 w/ only 10 HRs... if people have him just below Alex Gordon, I think you can really steal some better prospects.
