A pretty good PPV IMO.

In the main event Hughes took care of BJ Penn in the third round. BJ Penn was a huge challenge and I was very impressed with his take down defense. But in the end all that defense wore him out and allowed Matt Hughes to do to BJ Penn what he does to everyone. I can't wait for the St. Pierre match up.

Swick and Loiseau was another fun match. Swick had full control of the first two rounds. Loiseau seemed to finally wake up in the third but by then it was too little too late.

I haven't seen the fights yet, but I actually thought Penn was Matt's last big challenge. That was the fight he had to win to get a lot of critics off of his back. If he beats St. Pierre (Which I think he will), I believe he'll have to fight one of TUF4 guys and then after that possibly Diego (If he's still unbeaten). After that what's left? Do they do him like Chuck and not really look to get anyone major? Maybe they have Rich and Matt meet at a middleground wieght and have a super fight? The WW division is insanely stacked, but he's beaten everyone.

Man, I wish BJ Penn had better cardio.

That said, St. Pierre Hughes 2 should be a great match

The sad thing is, he's a waste of a talent. If he'd actually improve his cardio, there is no telling how great he could be. He should take some tips from Ortiz.
