You're right, life is short. Spending the next 7 years with the hope of having a next-to-none chance at being an NFL punter seems like a bad use of it. Have fun.

As some people have already stated, no team will sign a 32 year old punter who has never pnted before. Use you time doing something worthwhile.

What's one hour a day? You're getting a good workout, you're staying in shape, and you're honing a skill that you may or may not be able to use in the future. But, who cares? Go for it. If you don't make it, you tried. How many people can say that? If you do, well, that would be an incredible story.

My son will be punting footballs from age 2. When he's not practicing, he'll be training to be a long snapper.
