on jays talk tonight the assistant to the gm confirmed he's probably out for the remainder of the year, since there is no point in rushing him back for anything at this point.

Excellent. Down the stretch run we go, and i loose Hafner, Izzy, Benitez, and now Halladay. I'm fairly certain that the fantasy gods are conspiring against me. The three catagories i have/had a chance to gain the points to put me in first were HR's, W's, and Saves.

You may actually be better off for losing Benitez. Sucks to have to drop Halladay during the finals but I doubt the Jays push things and try to bring him back for another start this year.

It's a keeper league, so i have to eat the roster spots.

I figured. This is terrible news. Halladay has been my rock all year. I have been depending on him in 3 leagues. He's help me get to the finals in all 3 of these leagues. I think I may cry. Time to cut Doc Halladay
