I got a 96% but the only mistake I made was trying to place Colorado as my first state... it's somewhere in there!

Anyway, I have this unusual skill... I have memorized the capital city of all 50 states. My friends sometimes quiz me...

"Washington?" "Olympia"

"Nevada?" "Carson City"

"Mississippi?" "Jackson!"

"Maine???" "AUGUSTA!!!!!"

I rule US Geography.

I won the state capital bee in my 4th grade social studies class.

I love geography too. Usually when my friends have a question about it the ask me.

Not too long ago, at work, I asked one of my waitresses (college grad, worked part time there) if she could fill in the names of all the states if given a blank map. She said probably not. Then she finds the weather section in the paper which has the outlines of all the states but no names. I fill it out in less then 5 minutes. She then had to call like 3 friends to ask if they could do it. I didn't think it was anything impressive. I wonder how some people got their degrees sometimes.

Yea 9:30 club is cool I like the Skins too...I dislike basketball especially since they changed their name to the wizards

It's acceptable to refer to the Wizards as the Buzzards. No love for the Caps? Come on.

"You guys" is a perfectly acceptable reference to a group of men & women.

I always thought people from PA used 'yins' to refer to a group of people.

I got 96% with average mistake 11 miles. I only got 2 wrong though. Oklahoma and Wyoming were tough with no other states around it. Anyways, I love geography too. When we do maps in class people are surprised at how much I know, while I'm thinking wow is my generation stupid.

That is pretty Western PA/Pittsburgh specific. So is ending sentences with "n'at"

Like, "we went to the mall and got some clothes n'at"

I think it's some kind of ridiculous contraction for "and that" but it comes out sounding a bit asinine.
