I love these two because I can relate. My uncle's a bit of scumbag (love him to death) and has dated just about everyone at his job (works in a hospital) and my mom would all feign being sick whenever she didn't want to go to work.

Let's be honest here, and I'm only using your quote as an example Bronxx. For anyone else who's had employees call in sick, does it really matter what voice/story they use? If you know them, you'll know whether they're lying or stretching the truth, or not. Really doesn't matter what excuse they use or how they sound. Ultimately, if you're a good employee, you'll have a job the next day. If you're not a good employee, you could be the best actor in the world, but you'll still be one step closer to the door.
