Let's be honest here, and I'm only using your quote as an example Bronxx. For anyone else who's had employees call in sick, does it really matter what voice/story they use? If you know them, you'll know whether they're lying or stretching the truth, or not. Really doesn't matter what excuse they use or how they sound. Ultimately, if you're a good employee, you'll have a job the next day. If you're not a good employee, you could be the best actor in the world, but you'll still be one step closer to the door.
