Wow is all that can be said about his past two games. 2 HRs, 6 Runs and 10 RBIs in two games. He may be on pace for the most RBIs in a particular span of games/per week. He may get me over the edge help me win the championship in H2H.

He'll help me win the consolation bracket, but having gotten ousted in the semi finals, I could have used this performance a week ago. :-/

In one league I have Helton, Atkins and Holliday (in a league that includes doubles and triples). A sweet start - all I can say.

He's pushed me to a 7 run, 2 HR, and 13 RBI lead through 2 days. ;-D

I really needed it too, because nobody else on my team has really done a thing so far this week. We're only 1/7th of the way through this matchup though, there's a long way to go.

And with Atkins, I'm also beginning to wonder if he's good enough to keep as my 6th keeper in a 14 team league. What do you guys think about his value in the future?

That's a good question, one that I've been battling with myself. I'm torn whether or not to keep him as my 10th keeper in a 10 team league, battling with the likes of Mike Young and Felix Hernandez. I think he has finally won me over, and I can't imagine not keeping a guy who is hitting .328 27HR's 114RBI's with 2 weeks left in the season.

Some expect him to regress in 2007, being 27 years old already and only now breaking into his own. But like I said, how can I not keep a guy who is probably my second best hitter behind Pujols? He may not have the rep, but he certainly is putting up the numbers.
