It has had its ups and down but it is almost over and even though the Cards didn't win 100+ again it has been a pretty successful season. Cards are up 7 with 13 games to play. If everything goes right they will be able to setup the rotation for the playoffs, rest some guys and won't have to make-up that game against the Giants. Which is good cause they don't have an off day until Oct. 2nd.
I almost passed out last night from the hyperventilating. Luckily for me, I had a paperbag on my head already thanks that Mets series, so I was able to get my breathing back under control quickly.

What a difference a week makes huh Pogo???
At least I said "if".
That said "if" they lose tonight and Houston wins it might be time to panic but I'm not pushing that button yet.

I've been pushing the button since late June, when the AL handed us our butts on a silver platter. The hitting's inconsistent even when everybody's present and accounted for, and the rotation is one man deep.
This late-season meltdown should not come as a surprise.
