I see that there is a thread with the votes for the worst movie of all time. I personally like the films with a unforeseen twist at the end that leaves your jaw wide open. Films like Sixth Sense, Fight Club, and the Usual Suspects come to mind. Anyone else have their favorites? Please don't give away any spoilers in case someone wants to check them out.

Beat me to "The Machinist." Wasn't a very good movie in my opinion, but the twist was cool.
Not a big Nicholas Cage fan at all, but the twist in Matchstick Men was its saving grace for me.
There's always classics like Psycho and Citizen Kane that I suppose had a twist ending (*Spoiler Warning* It was his SLED!)
Saw's twist ending fooled me too; mostly because the movie affectively suspended my disbelief for the first 90% of it.
My roommate loved Vanilla Sky for it's twist ending; I thought it was mediocre at best.
I've also heard Mulholland Drive, although its twist was obscured by its excessive weirdness (still worth a look) and Donnie Darko, which is a bit culty.
My modern favorites are "Suspects" and "Fight Club" probably.
If you're a battery, you're either working or you're dead....
I'm not a big movie aficionado, but yes, Seven and Sixth Sense are worth mentioning again. The Empire Strikes Back had obviously the most surprising finish for its time.
If you didn't read the James Bond books or watch the Bond films from Diamonds Are Forever until now, then On Her Majesty's Secret Service probably has the best ending in the entire Bond series. Good movie, although I always wondered if OHMSS would've improved greatly or been quite a downer if Sean Connery still portrayed Bond instead of the placeholder Bond, George Lazenby. Oh well.
