There are no bench spots in my league. Only roster moves that can be made now are dropping DL guys and replacing them. I have Izzy and Hafner getting me 0 points! Any chance either of these guys go on the official MLB DL? Please!!

Seems unlikely. The DL is more or less a bookkeeping device for roster management. As MLB teams have moved to 40-man rosters anyway, there seems little reason for them to officially DL players who are done for the year.

That really sucks for you, though--can your commish bend the rules It seems absurd that you could be so negatively affected in the standings for a rule that is presumably designed to curtail streaming. It's utterly arbitrary and while it follows the letter of the law, it seems somewhat antithetical to the spirit of it.

I don't know if you can get anything sorted out for this year, but the league has to get a rule in place to cover this situation before the start of next season (assuming it's a keeper).

He can't because he can only drop him if he actually gets put on the DL. Since the team has no reason to do so (with the expanded rosters they have no reason to DL the player) he's stuck with Izzy on his roster for the rest of the season.

... who the hell made that rule? It basically means anyone with an injury in the last month of the season gives up a spot on their roster. This is nearly as bad as the league my friend made with no DL spots and no bench a couple years ago.

That is an awful rule, I would propose changing it ASAP.
