Sammy Sosa sucked for his final two seasons (one with Baltimore) and behaved poorly enough to turn Cubs fans against him. And he used a corked bat at least once. Other than that, his bad looks (apparently people haven't noticed that he had a big head even when he played for the Whitesox) and his suddenly poor grip of the English language on Capitol Hill I can't think of anything against Sosa other than rumors and innuendo. It's not like the situation with Big Mac where we KNOW he took certain legal but now banned substances or with Bonds where we have his grand jury testimony that he unknowingly used the cream and the clear...Sosa is simply the target of speculation.
