02% - The Covenant [#1 Movie in America]
Two big surprises; The Covenant is just another WB show turned into a lousy movie to get people into the seats, and it gets #1 box office ratings.... your typical first weekend winner, second weekend sucker (one week of teenagers telling their friends how much a movie sucks usually keeps people away). Second, The Black Dahlia gets an abysmal 31%.... a movie advertised to be something worth watching and clearly sub-par, especially when stinkers like "Gridiron Gang," "Everyone's Hero," "The Last Kiss," "The Protector," and even "Crank" get significantly higher ratings.

Speaking of movies. My buddy went to the premiere of "Beer League". His brother is the agent for some of the actors in the movie. He told me that the movie is an absolute riot.

My boss went to Colgate, home of the comedy troupe "Broken Lizards" who fortunately brought you "Super Troopers" and who, unfortunately, brought you "Club Dred." I'm hoping, at the very least, Beerfest is a compromise.

Beerfest is pretty funny. Not as funny as Supertroopers, but it was worth money to see Beerfest.
