his AAA average was over 12 or 13 K/9. I don't see him going too high in drafts because it took him a while to convert his ridiculously good AAA success into something meaningful at the ML level, but the potential is clearly there. However, I do see him going higher than what is likely his proper draft spot, especially in drafts with Cubs fans.
He's either completely figured it out and is going to live up to his potential or he is just on one crazy hot streak right now. I just can't make up my mind on which one I think it is.
I like Hillf or next year, because some of his bad starts will keep his ratios up (as with Hamels) disguising some of the dominance that he has had this year... it's really hard to tell how things will turn out at this point though. Different sets of player rankings that come out in February or so will do a lot to determine who is over and underrated (since most people start with someone else's ranking because they make their own ranking by adjusting someone else's).

I doubt that. People don't really forget when people are truely outstanding at the end because these type of guys help win leagues down the stretch. Also Hill has been really really good.

I don't think he'll be to expensive on draft day. It's probably a majority of the non-Cafers and non-Hill owners that don't know about Rich Hill. Anyone who hasn't hasn't owned or faced Rich Hill in the last short while probably isn't aware

This kid has looked magnificent, a complete game shutout of the reds on 9/16 with 10 ks was his recent gem. Looking to next season, he could make a good sleeper pick, assuming that many aren't even paying attention anymore (those knocked out of the playoffs).
Do you think we are seeing the beginnings of a special career, or your standard freshman dazzle followed by sophmore slumpage? Anyone seen him pitch can add some insight on this kid?

I've mentioned this before but I like young pitchers who improve over time. He was getting shelled regularly, sent back down, came up and struggled a little bit then adjusted well to post some great numbers in the second half.
I'm not sure where I would take him but he is worth a pick in the later rounds.
