Tie Breaker in Yahoo?

Yep - so far it's been twice. However, Torre pitch hit Matsui and he struck out. So now we are tied. Posada will bat again and Ortiz. I just hope (pray) Torre doesn't pitch hit Damon or A-Rod (because I have them starting) . I am also now .001 behind in batting average. So if Posada and Ortix get out, I should either tie or win that category.

This is too close and insane.

I made the finals which starts tomorrow (2 weeks). It was nailing biting because Damon and A-Rod batted, but Damon's single gave me the win for AVG and A-Rod didn't strike out. It couldn't have been closer than this. Thank goodness for Ortiz's 3 K's.

well, all i needed to win the matchup last week was one win out of four starters. the first three failed to get the job done, but with mussina, it was looking good. i can't believe torre let myers pitch for so long in the eighth inning. since mussina didn't get the win, we ended up tied for the week and he had a lower era.

this is the second time in three years that i have been screwed over by the yahoo tiebreaker. i don't understand why the first tiebreaker is not head to head record during the regular season. if that were the case, i would have won both of my playoff matchups.

since the tiebreaker is era, my opponent basically gets to cout his win in era as two wins.

i hate the yahoo tiebreaker system.

we had a semifinal game come down to the "coin flip" option last week in a HR derby league. Luckily no one really took the league too seriously so it didn't piss anyone off but it was kind of funny to see.

Does anyone know if this applies to Roto ties as well?
