Click on rules at the top right. Then select "tiebreak" and it takes you here.

I'm pretty sure it's the better ERA of the two.

If, at the end of the regular season, two or more players in a Head-to-Head League finish tied in the standings (based on a Games Behind calculation), the following system will be used to break the tie and determine playoff seedings:
Overall winning percentage.

Highest winning percentage in Week 22.

Highest winning percentage in Week 21.

Highest winning percentage in Week 20.

Highest winning percentage in Week 19.

Highest winning percentage in Week 18.

Highest winning percentage in Week 17.

Highest winning percentage in Week 16.

Highest winning percentage in Week 15.

Highest winning percentage in Week 14.

Highest winning percentage in Week 13.

Highest winning percentage in Week 12.

Highest winning percentage in Week 11.

Highest winning percentage in Week 10.

Highest winning percentage in Week 9.

Highest winning percentage in Week 8.

Highest winning percentage in Week 7.

Highest winning percentage in Week 6.

Highest winning percentage in Week 5.

Highest winning percentage in Week 4.

Highest winning percentage in Week 3.

Highest winning percentage in Week 2.

Highest winning percentage in Week 1.

Random "coin flip."

In the event that a playoff game ends in a tie, the deadlock will be broken using the following system:
(See below if your league does not use one or more of the following categories.)

Lowest team ERA.

Highest team AVG.

Lowest team WHIP.

Most team HR.

Most team wins.

Most team RBI.

Most team saves.

Most team runs.

Most team SO.

Most team SB.

Random "coin flip."
Notes:
The first category above that is not tied will settle the tiebreaker. So, tiebreaker No. 2, team AVG., will be used only if team ERA is tied.
In a Custom League the same tiebreakers apply. If a category above is not used in your league, please skip it and move on to the next criteria. So, if your league does not use ERA, then the first scoring category used to settle the tie will be team AVG.

Just by the dynamics of the ERA category, you'll have a likely winner in ERA. That's always the primary tiebreaker and so that's why you have to be careful with your spot starts if the series outcome projects to be close.

By lowest ERA, that means for that particular playoff week or for the entire season? I am assuming it's lowest ERA for that playoff week.

I am likely going to tie unless Posada, Jeter or Ortiz hit a triple or get a SB (I lose) AND/OR if the above mentioned K for a combined 2 times (I win). Weird how close it can get at the end.

In the event of a tie, I have the lowest ERA for this week.
