How good will Delmon Young be?

I just pulled the trigger on a trade giving up V. Martinez and R. Halladay for J. Verlander and Del. Young. I know this isn't the forum to discuss the trade, but I'd like to get people's opinions on the subject of my message:

HOW GOOD WILL DELMON YOUNG BE?

I know he really hasn't proven anything yet at the major league level, but everything I've seen suggests he's the real deal.

What current MLB player would he project out to be?

i'd say he'll put up johnny damon like numbers.

70-80 RBI
20+ Stolen Bases

pasically a damon/Sizmore player. A trusty 5 tool player with the ability to hit more homers and steal more bases than the other two.

I see him as a 5 tool 30/30 time players. But you shouldnt expect these numbers year. He's still young and still trying to learn the strike zone. Next year i see him to finish around 20/20.

i remember jeremy hermida getting this billing near the end of last season. use caution when projecting out players like this. he will be good but dont expect an MVP next season. personally im waiting for a season before projecting anything, as he could be far better or worse than whats being thrown up here. just look at ryan howard, where even the highest projections fell short of him, while hermidas biggest haters still didnt project him to this injury plagued, totally useless season.
