Time to drop Manny?

This is obviously fantasy crunch time and I don't know what the Sox are doing. Why don't they put Manny (and I) out of his misery and put him on the DL?

Meanwhile Corey Patterson is coming back soon and I could use the roster spot. Anyone dropping Manny for greener pastures?

theres only about a week left, it dosnt look like he's coming back. Im waiting till' sunday to drop him, assuming I make it to the finals in playoffs.

I would likely drop him and Andruw both if they weren't on Yahoo's Can't Cut list...

I've already dropped him and picked up Patterson. Patterson is back and in the lineup tonight!

Everything I have read say he "may" not play again this year. I have seen nothing official. Do you have a source/link for this?

Maybe trade him to another team for a no good player, then drop that player.

There are 2 weeks left and Manny has basically either missed or played like garbgage the past 3 weeks. In a non-keeper, it is time to cut him and go with someone else. Unfortunately the Red Sox did this pathethic little injury dance the last couple of weeks and made most of his owners keep him active. They should have just shut him down and been done with it.

No kidding. The Red Sox shouldn't have tried to play both sides of the fence. It is one thing if the Red Sox are in a race, but they aren't.
