CORRECTION: MINNESOTA PITCHER FRANCISCO LIRIANO HAS LEFT THE GAME IN THE THIRD INNING WITH AN APPARENT LEFT ELBOW INJURY.
Yahoo! is halarious sometimes.
Also from Yahoo!
Sep 13 Liriano appeared to re-injure his pitching elbow in Wednesday's start against the A's, leaving the game in the third inning.
Recommendation: The injury appeared to occur on a pitch to the A's Bobby Kielty, and Liriano left immediately after. The Twins had previously said they'd shut down Liriano for the season if he had any setback in his comeback from a chronic strain of his ulnar collateral ligament. So even if this isn't a worst-case scenario, this is probably his last appearence in 2006.
They should probably just shut him down for next season, I hate to say.
