Don't know what to do about these prospects

Postby Niffoc4 » Wed Sep 13, 2006 2:21 am

Ever since I realized (about a month and a half ago) that I couldn't win this year I have been stockpiling prospects in my 20 team league, so that I would have better keeper choices at the end of the year. I feel like I have too many now though! How would you rank these players (7x7 league with OPS, TB on offense and K/BB, Holds) for next year?

Hitters
Kendrick
Chris Young
Carlos Quentin
Stephen Drew (I'm not a Dbacks fan I swear)
Kouzmanoff

Pitchers
Andrew Miller

Right now I think I will keep Kendrick, Drew and one more but I can certainly be convinced otherwise. Also Ianetta is available, but I don't think he'll do great next year.

Definately Kendrick and Drew. I'd probably go with Young next, though I'm not as high on him as most.

1. Kendrick
2. Drew

3. Young

4. Miller
5. Quentin
6. Kouz

gotta be:

Drew
Kendrick
Young
Miller
Quentin
Kouzmanoff

you HAVE to keep the top 3, and should probably keep Miller too

I think Josh Fields is and will continue to be better than Kouz and Fields has been recently called up.

Do either of them really have much of a chance to play all year next year though? I have heard Fields will play OF in Winter ball, does anyone know if the Indians are thinking about trying Kouzmanoff in the OF?

Will Andrew Miller help at all next year, or will they start him off at like AA?
