I remember when I joined the Cafe at the beginning of the season that a group of Cafe veterans were playing in an annual Cafe Challenge League in Yahoo. Does anyone have an update on that league?
I'm not sure of the participants but it was advertised as a league that is played annually by the best fantasy players the Cafe has to offer. From memory people like Madison, Kolb and Tavish were in it. I think Kolb won it last year.

that would be Erboes talking out his backside again.
Never heard of Erboes but he sure hasn't done much the past two years. The end points in 2005 are remarkably similar to the current points in 2006 with NZF and Mustangs in the same spots and Bleach replacing KolbSaves on top. I may not be a Cafe vet but I would love to play in a competitive league like this next season.

Send your CV to Bleach in January
To be honest with you Arch even this league has several inactive managers. I've now played in Cafe Leagues for the past 3 years and most are no more competitive than Yahoo Public leagues.

you know what,
I have to agree with you.
I have been amazed at the "names" around here that have basically just ignored their teams over the last couple of years. There was one guy this year, who shall remain nameless, but alot of people have "respect" for him around here .. and I had to lock his team up for inactivity around the allstar break
Off the top of my head, in two of the cafe leagues I am in this year, there are on average 3-4 teams in each league that haven't touched their roster in over two months.
It really isn't all that.
I say once you find a good core of 12 owners, stick with them ... seriouslly.
