My 5'4", 105-lb wife went through it over the winter and didn't complain once.

I went through it two years ago, and it wasn't fun. I got knocked out, but the bad part was I hated eating because crap got stuck in the holes where the teeth were, and it was a b**** to get out. So of course I decided I wouldn't eat, and needless to say a combination of not eating and taking vicodin constantly lead to severe stomach pains, puking, and one of the worst exp. of my life with a combination of a stomach that felt it was being burned away and mouth that was sore and had annoying loose end to stitches that drove me crazy forever.

They gave my wife a little, plastic syringe that she could use to squirt water into the recess.

It just pushed the food out until the gap closed on its own.

Yeah, I get one of those when I get the sitches removed on Friday. Until then, though, the stitches seem to be doing a good job of keeping crap out of there as the holes are sealed.
