Howie Kendrick update -#s don't say it all

Too bad I bought into the hype and started him this week. He has done nothing for me. Im glad I left Ducan and his 2 home runs today on the bench to play this guy who apparently is, at least at this point in his career, not worthy of playing in h2h leagues.

I am not typically someone that has players I refuse to take on my team but Kendrick has officially made my list. Streaky players are the worst type to have on your team in a H2H league and Kendrick looks like he is going to be that guy that goes 0 for 40 and then 10 for 15 so his numbers at the end of the year will look good but he will KILL you if he is on your team.

I believe the Angels lead the AL in stolen bases this year. Kendrick should get plenty of chances to run in 2007.

A rookie that comes sprinting out of the gate that then runs into a wall headfirst is not streaky. All rookies slump during their first year.

He's kind of of like shooting the borg with a phaser against some pitchers, they may drop the first few laser blasts, but they adjust.

At every level, he's consistently struggled for a bit, then settled into a 360 hitter with plus pop for a 2b and plus speed, and plus speed on the Angels means you're going to be running... And 360 is REALLY HIGH over time, even in the minors, he's not 360 a month or two, he starts consistently averaging that after he adjust.

I've seen enough to tell he doesn't get rattle, and even the games he doesn't look great in the box score, each at bat agains some pitchers, he looks better each suucessive at bat. That tells me he adjusts fast.
