It has a built-in spell check that underlines misspelled words in red as you type ANYWHERE online. It's so awesome, and I no longer have an excuse for spelling stuff wrong.
Too bad hardly any of my current extensions work with it... oh well.
If you're a battery, you're either working or you're dead....
Can you add to the spell check database, so it doesn't underline common slang terminology that you may generally use? i.e., can I add the word 'gonna' so it doesn't underline it every time I type it?
i still think Firefox is for nerds...but the way i spell so atrociously here at the Cafe maybe i should look into it...that and all the words i fat-finger and dont care to fix

First of all, the coolest part is that slang terms like gonna are already in there, so it doesn't underline them.
Second of all, i guess firefox is for nerds if downloading a program is nerdy behavior. Other than that, i really can't understand why anyone would still use IE 6. Tabs WILL change your life, but IE 7 will soon be the standard.

Cool. I use both Firefox and IE7 and it's force of habit that I use Firefox. Using Firefox is probably for nerds, but I don't have a problem with that.

What do you mean by "bring tabs up" and "manually?" There's a number of ways to make a new tab. Ctrl-T, clicking a link with the scroll wheel, or by putting the new tab button into the toolbar under Tools>Options.
