Drop Crisp for Kouzmanoff?

Is my OF depth good enough to get rid of Crisp. Is Crisp certain to be added as soon as he comes off waivers?

I like Kouzmanoff, a lot. 2 things are against him, age and injury history. He's healthy right now and 25 is hardly old. He hit around .370 in AA and AAA(International league, which is known for its pitching, too) and was hitting over .400 in AA before he started focusing on hitting for more power. I believe the average will come. There's no way he'll keep up the 3 hr in 5 games pace but if given the playing time it's perfectly reasonable to expect .290 25HR a year consistently. The question is where he'll play. With Hafner out and Marte struggling. I would drop a struggling Crisp for him and hope he plays more often than every other day. He's also been healthy this year.

I went ahead and dropped Crisp for Kouz, but I also decided on dropping Wainwright for Tuly. Were these good moves based on my roster?

I would personally keep Crisp over Drew. Also, I like Fields more than Kouz. Fields was just called up.

I think both of the moves work. Although Crisp has top 15 OF potential, you already have two risky/inconsistent outfielders Drew and Kearns. So, Kouzmanoff should be a solid addition.

You have a good amount of pitching depth, so you can afford to make a move like Wainwright for Tulowitzki. If Wainwright appears to have a full season of closing ahead of him in 2007 or 2008, you could probably pick him back up. I'm surprized that Tulowitzki was still available right now.
