I have Hafner in a keeper league and I need to put him on the DL but he hasn't gone on it yet. Why not?

It's possible that he may not be placed on the DL at all. Teams have the ability to expand their rosters at the beginning of September so if a player is injured there is no urgent need to place the player on the DL in order to clear a roster spot for another player particularly for a team like the Indians who are already done for the year. Chipper Jones is in a somewhat similar situation in Atlanta. He's likely going to miss a full 2 weeks and maybe the rest of the season, but the Braves haven't DL'd him.

You may be stuck with him as dead weight on your roster since you obviously can't drop him in a keeper league.

Thanks for the reply, that's what I was afraid of. That would be highly inconvenient.
