This sucks. Big time.
CHICAGO - Indians designated hitter Travis Hafner is out for the rest of the season with a hairline fracture of his right hand, the team announced Saturday.
Hafner was hit with a pitch Sept. 2 by C.J. Wilson of the Texas Rangers.
The Indians had been calling the injury a bruise and had said that Hafner was day to day.
Hafner hit .308 this season with 42 home runs and 117 RBI.
