SD, STL, WAS Prospects (help me dig)

Postby shortsavage » Fri Sep 08, 2006 5:07 pm

I'm working on a list of the top three prospects in every organization that I'm going to post on my website and see if Arlo wants to post in the Cafe.

I've compiled lists that I like for every organization except SD, STL, and WAS. It's looking like I'm going to have to dig pretty deep to find three talented prospects within these organizations.

Does anyone have any prospects outside of Cedrick Hunter and Cesar Carrillo who could fill the role of thrid-best prospect in San Diego's system now that George Kottaras is out?

Who besides Colby Rasmus has shined in the St. Louis' organization?

Other than Cory Casto, who stands out for Washington?

Jon Knott for San Diego. 31 HR's, 113 RBI's this year. He is 27 or 28 though. So not exactly a great prospect. But numbers are there...

Something wrong with Anthony Reyes for StL, or has he passed prospect status?

Reyes has thrown 71.0 major league innings this year, so he has lost his rookie eligibility.

Thanks for the ledes Havok.

I like Chase Headley with San Diego.

Mark McCormick and Tyler Greene aren't really up to my prospect stardards for STL.

Still have to look into Washinton's guys.

I like Chris Marrero, Shairon Martis - surprises me because I didn't think much of him when he was with SF - and Cory Casto for Washington.

Shawn Hill looked pretty good this year, though I know he made the majors. I doubt he exceeded the innings limit.

If you're still looking for Nationals prospects.
