This is just a list of bands that I have on my winamp play list. There should be something in there for about anyone that likes rock.

I'll even suggest their better albums (of course this is my opinion)
Pearl Jam: Ten, Vs., Pearl Jam
Alice in Chains: Dirt, Facelift, Unplugged
Temple of the Dog: Temple of the Dog (They only had one)
Soundgarden: Superunknown, Down on the Upside
Stone Temple Pilots: Core, Purple
Audioslave: Audioslave and Out of Exile
Mad Season: Above (Their only one)
Metallica: Master of Puppets, ...and Justice for All, Metallica (The black album)
Pantera: Cowboys from Hell, Far Beyond Driven
Pink Floyd: Darkside of the Moon, Wish you Were Here, The Wall
Oasis: (What's the Story) Morning Glory?
The White Stripes: White Blood Cells, Elephant
Tool: Aenima, Lateralus

Classical people... classical.

It's amazing how much crap is out there on the radio and on MTV yet we have masterpieces by the thousands just sitting there being ignored.

I'll admit it, I'm a Tchaikovsky fan. But I like John Williams's soundtracks even more. Hymn to the Fallen from Saving Private Ryan is aweseome.

I like to be musically diverse. B-)

Williams is awesome, no question.

My favorite by far was the Baroque era which Bach was undisputedly the king of.

Great list, but no Zeppelin? Gotta put Zepp on a list like this. I don't care for GD, so I'd swap them out for Zepp.

Hey, hey, 80's Bay Area Thrash is classical music. :-D

I stopped listening to radio in the late 90's and MTV, well, I stopped watching that after the novelty of Celebrity Deathmatch and Jackass wore off.

HUH??? Its the 7th one I listed I bolded it for you. :)

As for classical I like Tchaivcovsky or however you spell it. But my favorite song is Moonlight Sonata cause I can play it on guitar.

Also, the Bela Fleck classical album is awesome ;-D
I'm too lazy to make a sig at the moment

After taking notice of your list, I can't help but notice you forgot Kill 'Em All and Ride The Lightning for Metallica. Add Vulgar Display Of Power for Pantera. This was arguably their most popular album even though I believe FBD was Pantera in its prime. The Great Southern Trendkill is also good, but sounds odd at first, although you'll get used to the harsh grooviness of it all. Reinventing the Steel isn't bad either, but Cowboys and FBD are more important than that album.
