Callups

Are they going to be any more big name callups? Or is it pretty much over.

I'd imagine a few more here and there, but not too many more. (Of course I'm not super smart on prospects. But just wanted to reply to get my post count up.)

I think the only big name (and that is subjective of course) callups are mostly going to be pitchers. I don't think Wood, Gordon, Butler or any postional players of that caliber will be called up.

Zack Greinke (will get called up after minor league playoffs)
Adam Miller (reemerging as a top stud prospect)
Homer Bailey (nuff' said, IF the Reds can stay in it and need a boost)
Mike Pelfrey (I think he'll be on the Mets postseason roster)
Jeff Niemann (I could see it but I doubt it)

Also, 1 of Danks, Diamond, or Hurley might get a call up

According to the Fantasy 411 MLB.com podcast, a source inside the Tigers organization indicated that Cameron Maybin could be called up soon. Obviously, this would be huge, not necessarally because Maybin would contribute this year -- he'd probably only be a pinch runner -- but because it would start his arbitration clock and the Tigers would have no hesitancy in bringing him up in future years, possibly next.

Enough caveats and conditional phrases, I know, but still very, very interesting.

Tulowitzki is up. Chris Young is up. Andrew Miller is up.

Maybin may get the call. Hopefully Homer Bailey will get the call... I'm sure a few top prospects will be getting the call up pretty soon.
