Ok, thanks to those of you who did reply. I guess I'll have to look for data elsewhere or put this project on hold.

I bet 9 out of 10 baseball fans over 90 years old would be able to answer this question. Can you?
9 out of 10 baseball fans over 90 years old can't hear well enough to listen to an announcer, much less determine if he is a homer or not.
Harry Kalas is very much a homer. If Bretty Myers has a terrible inning and gives up 5 earned runs but manages to strike out 3 batters in between all the gopher balls, Kalas will get gueninely excited and proclaim "..and Myers strikes out the side!" It's unintentionally hilarious.

Whoever the Red Sox radio announcers are get a +200 on the homer scale.
They'll come up with the most random things ever and then blame any failure on the yankees finances.
I'm too lazy to make a sig at the moment

Project? Come on Savage, find something better to do with your time, or at least dont let people know this is what you do with yourself. create a homerism project....

It only ended up being a five minute project, and I did end up finding something better to do with my time,
Project Prospect. It's going to be awesome

...and I already set up a link to the Cafe.
