Cardinals Closer Situation

Wait, what is this about Wainwright getting left handed hitters out while Looper struggles against them? Seems to me that they are both crappy against them, but actually Looper is slightly less crappy.

Wainwright's splits:

When using splits with L vs R, I'm hesitant to use the ERA as an indicator. I think the BA against is probably a better indicator. Even so, both are craptacular.
