Matt Garza: USA Today's Minor League POY

The guy had a phenominal season. Here's hoping for at least 14 wins next season.

I can only keep 3 of these guys...

Scott Olsen
Joel Zumaya
Matt Garza
Jered Weaver

All have 22nd to 19th-round equivalence.

Since you have a relief pitcher listed and you haven't given much information about your roster, this is a pretty tough question to answer.

That said, these kinds of questions are very time-consuming to answer (like rate my team and trade questions). And given that I only like putting good advise on the table, I think I'm going to cut down to one a day.

Maybe Arlo would be interested in having a weekly article on keeper decisions. I could do something three detailed questions a week.

If he'll post my responses and you give me more background on your team, I'll consider making this part of my first article.

Zumaya is not worth much unless he becomss a closer, and even then, there is so much turnover in the closer position, that it's pretty easy to find serviceable guys.

Zumaya is good in ratios and Ks, but there are always guys who come in and put up stellar MR numbers (Neshak).

See if you can trade Zumaya, but I'd certainly keep Garza over him.

lol guys. I actually posted the names just cuz I was thinking about them at that moment but wasn't looking for advice...yet. It's a long winter coming up and I'll wait to see what happens in the spring.

As for now Garza will be dropped and drafted in round 4 ;-D .

If Zoomer is the closer gotta keep him as a 20th pick.

Thanks anyway for the opinions.

be nice if Garza's "great" year would translate to the big leagues...He was gnarly last week.
