According to Julian Tavarez, Manny Ramirez (knee) will be in the lineup for Monday's game against the White Sox.

Tavarez is one of Ramirez's closest friends on the Red Sox. "That's what he told me. I guarantee it," Tavarez said. Manager Terry Francona said before the game that Manny came through a strenuous workout well. It looks like he'll have to be left active this week.

I'm ok if he doesn't play at all this week as long as he starts playing next week and finishes the season. I'm also going to require him to hit 4-5 homers a week after coming back with an avg in the .400 range.

If Manny fails to meet these requirements I'm going to be very disappointed in him...and he knows what that means.
