Who else is sweating out this afternoon's games?

Postby tinfoilxtouch » Sun Sep 03, 2006 5:21 pm

Since today marks the end of Yahoo's regular season, I was wondering how many other people are glued to the box scores right now?

I'm in five leagues, and finishing 1st/2nd/3rd still hasn't been decided for me in three of them. :-o

I'm in a very tight race right now after taking over this team a little while ago. 6 team make it to the playoffs, I'm in 5th place right now but I've lost every pitching cat other than wins (hopefully), and if I want to hold the fifth spot then I'll need my hitters to help me out a bit.

I'm one of them, although I'm going out right now. So I hope by the time I come back and look at stat tracker everything had gone well. :-o

in my 12 team H2H league..I'm in 3rd entering this week. 6 teams make playoffs, top 2 get byes. Right now the race to get a bye is insanely tight. A homer from Vlad tonight might make the difference for me.

the one week I go up against Adam Laroche, seriously !+)
big ups to smoovethug on the sig

I am dying today. I am in a close battle for 2nd or 3rd place in one league and we keep going back and forth. About a $200 difference in prize money! :-o

I'm sailing in all of my H2H leagues, except for one and that's my 20-teamer. I'm more or less worried about the placement, but if the scores hold up, I'm assured of a #3 seed (not that it matters anyway). I should win or tie the week with ease as I'm dominating in the offensive categories (and in saves), but what I'm sweating out is the ERA/WHIP battle. It probably sounds like a minute fuss to you considering that some of you are battling for your playoff lives, but that's just me.

I'm in the 6th and last playoff position in my 16 team league by one point. I think I'm just going to squeak in. :-°

I'm currently in 1st in my league and I should be good for a 1st round bye in the playoffs next week barring a massive collapse (knock on wood).

At this point, i'm trying to put the final pieces together for my team's semifinal matchup next week, so i'm not too stressed about today's games.

currently in the first round of our playoffs.

I'm tied 5-5. I'm leading in ERA (the first tiebreaker) by 0.15 right now.

I'm leading saves by 1 and my opponent has Ryan, whose team currently leads Boston 3-0. I'm hoping for a Boston comeback or for Toronto to score a few more runs. If he ties me in saves, I'm done.

When you are a man, sometimes you wear stretchy pants in your room...is for fun.
