Maybe he is, but i am not sure where i can tracker whether or not he was on the roster for 45 days last year.
The Mets will win the World Series this year.

Don't get why Josh Johnson is getting as much consideration as Zimmerman, Uggla or Ramirez...

I strongly feel it's going to be Hanley. He's finishing the season strong too.

It seems like everyone agrees the AL ROY is a race between Papelbon, Weaver, and Verlander. Why is Josh Johnson getting overlooked in the NL ROY race? Guys like Zimmerman and Uggla are drawing all the attention with mediocre hitting stats, while Johnson is second in ERA!
Not that I think he's going to be nearly on the same level as the three AL pitchers, but he certainly deserves the award for his league.

A sub-3 ERA, a 7.88 K/9 ratio, and a 12-6 record. That's why.
BTW, that 2.99 ERA is 3rd best in the NL, behind only Carpenter and Clemens.

Cain had 46 innings last year.
In order to qualify for the award a player must have accumulated, prior to the season under consideration: * Fewer than 130 at bats and 50 innings pitched in the major leagues or * Fewer than 45 days on the active rosters of major league clubs (excluding time on the disabled list or any time after rosters are expanded on September 1)
