Important question about double headers

Postby The_Met_Threat » Sun Sep 03, 2006 12:06 pm

I ahve Brett Myers pitching today, but he is in the second double header. If i have him in an active roster spot for the first game, can i still bench him before the second. This is a general quetsion, and doesnt just apply to my team.
The Mets will win the World Series this year.

I'm in a similar situation. I have Hudson, who would pitch the 2nd game, but I'd like to wait and see how Wells starts for an hour against Cinci as my opponent has him before I make Huddy active.

My ERA lead is 0.02.

i believe, @ least in yahoo, you have to have the guy in before the 1st game of the doubleheader starts...when i checked yesterday to put wickman in, the furst game was already over and it did not allow me to insert him, even tho i left a slot open...

Correct, if their team has a double header yahoo makes will not allow you to move a player to the bench or vice versa after the first game has started.

Are you using a Yahoo league?

Unfortunately, Yahoo will not differentiate between the games. If you want someone to go for the 2nd game, you must commit them before the first one.
