The seasons coming to an end, and Peavy is pitching really really strong. With the horrible first half this guy had what round do you guys expect him to be drafted.Imo I still think this guy is a 5 round pick, am I crazy or what?

You arent crazy. Peavy was a stud the past 2 years, and suffered through a lot of bad luck during the first half and has been pitching the way we all remember recently. I'd be happy to use a round 5 pick on him.

Peavy's pulled it together finally. He just pitched a 2-hit CG tonight, and has given up more than 3 runs just once in the 7 games before that.
It's not like Peavy's some hot new rookie. He's dominated before, and will do so again. Definitely worth a 5th round pick.

I think this guy will be excellent next year. Everything about his season just seems to feel like Roy Halladay '04 or Jason Schmidt '05, i.e. proven studs who just went through a miserable year, with tired arms or other mysterious ailments. Both those other guys bounced back very well the following year. I don't think there's any reason Peavy couldn't bounce back next year and have the kind of season he's had in the past; and you will be able to get him at an excellent value next year, as well.

I'm not gonna touch him next year.
well youll be missing out than.
2.25 era 2 years ago, 2.7 last year. always top 3 in k's. And he pitched the whole first half of the year with tendonitis. This guy is better than you think

I wont use a 2nd, but depending on his next couple of starts i'd be happy with a late 3rd, or early 4th. Definatly grab him them.

Hopefully, fantasy sites rate him lower because of wins and ERA. He should bounce back nicely. He's struggled a bit, but he's been unlucky as well. Just picked him up in a keeper so I will be rooting for him.
My apologies. I have a nephew named Anfernee, and I know how mad he gets when I call him Anthony. Almost as mad as I get when I think about the fact that my sister named him Anfernee.
