Remnants of Ernesto on the way. 4-8 inches of rain expected. Anyone have any thoughts on how this might affect their rotation?
I think that they get rained out tonight and Get an evening game in tomorrow, due to the storm being to the northwest of them on Saturday evening.
I heard that they were supposed to play a double header tomorrow, and I was thinking that Bret Myers had an outside chance of pitching.
Oh well....
3 games without Ryan Howard....in the finals =

Yeah, but that double-header was already on the schedule because of an earlier rainout. Teams don't do back-to-back double headers do they? Though it sounds like they might only get 1 in on Sat if lucky ... maybe Sunday will be a new double header day. It's still looking that for this week all owners of Phillies and/or Braves are going to come up a game short this week.

This, BTW, is why I think it is stupid to reschedule rainouts several months later instead of playing a DH the next day (or within the series) if at all possible. It's like they presume there's no chance of bad weather two months later.
Anyway, with 4 games to be played, it looks like back-to-back DH - which sucks if you have players that normally play most games and is great for the platoon players (especially with larger rosters now). I just can't see guys like Chipper, Andruw, Rollins, Burrell and Utley playing 4 games in two days and McCann's chance at qualifying for the batting race takes a big blow since he'd miss 2 of the 4 games.
If they only play 3 games today and tomorrow, I think I read that they'd make up the 4th on 9/25. This may be forced anyway if the remnants of Ernesto play havoc with the afternoon game.

It's looking like they'll either play two double headers (today and tomorrow) or one game today and two on Sunday, and the Braves will just have to come back through Philly at some point (which sould suck for them).

Does Myers have any chance of pitching?
