True, but I believe Spain is the higher ranked team when it comes to world rankings. I will agree that if Gasol isn't playing, then Spain will probably lose.

It's actually been pretty good. I've watched most of, if not all of the televised games. The US/Greece game and the Spain/Argentina were both pretty fun games to watch.
The problem for the US is the fact that most of these international teams have been playing together for years. It's just too hard to get guys together for 3-4 weeks and expect them to be able to just walk through these guys like they aren't there.

I think the bottom line is that the US style of play is not a team style like the rest of the world plays. In this sense, we're 'falling behind' because everyone wants to be a superstar, the reason I stopped watching the NBA.
