Sacramento Rivercats are PCL champions!

Last night the Sac Rivercats beat the Nashville Sound 8-1 to capture the PCL championship. They won the series 3-0, after beating Edmonton 3-0 to advance to the championship series.

Raley Field was jam packed and had a great atmosphere. To top it off, they had $1 hot dogs and $1 nutty sundaes. Good times. My girlfriend even went and got me a hot dog and beer while I filled in my scorecard. That might have been the best thing that's ever happened to me. :-D

Winston-Salem, three games to zip over Lynchburg. Wilmington had the best record in the league, but lost to Lynchburg in the semi-finals.

and yep...Arlo is right again...the Warthogs beat the Hillcats 3 - 2 to take the championship series 3 games to 0....
